Cabin Information
The
Fowler cabin is 12 miles from Estes Park on Colorado Highway 7 or approximately
24 miles from Lyons on Highway 7.
Nearby town of Estes Park hosts a variety of activities
that include dining, golfing, fishing, and touring Rocky
Mountain National Park. We are considered within the Meeker Park area
just North of Allenspark.
We are just North of the Wild Basin entrance off of Highway 7. There are several trails that range in difficulty and lead you to beautiful falls, and lakes. Enjoy hiking, biking, climbing or even a horseback ride while you are visiting our area.
During the months of June, July, and August, a convenience grocery store, self-service laundry area and horseback riding is offered through the Meeker Park Lodge. The lodge, which also hosts other events during the summer season, is within walking distance from Fowler Cabin.
Altitude: Our cabin is located approximately at 8,300 ft. above sea level. Remember to take a couple of days to acclimate yourself to the high altitude before attempting any strenuous hikes or climbs. Shorter hikes are suggested.
